PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
Environmental Science and Technology is intended for mid-career professionals with an interest in environmental sciences and in maintaining environmental integrity in relation to human development.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After successfully completing this specialisation, graduates will be able to:
- Design, organise and conduct scientific environmental research, and contribute to the development of innovative technologies for solving environmental problems;
- Analyse dynamic interactions in complex human environment systems;
- Formulate data requirements and data collection strategies and design, and apply conceptual and computational models for a better understanding of these systems;
- Provide scientific advice for policy development and decision making.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE & CONTENTS
The Environmental Science and Technology specialisation consists of twelve modules, starting with four introductory modules shared by all Environmental Science MSc programme students. The list below shows all modules of the specialisation, followed by a six month research and thesis phase. Graduates of the programme will be awarded 106 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits.
